A MOU was signed on 6th April 2022 between Regional Hospital Kullu represented by Medical Superintendent Dr Naresh Chand and Samphia Foundation represented by Excutive Director Shruti Bharadwaj to establish and operate District Early Intervention Center ( DEIC ) A Therapy center for children with disabilities at Regional Hospital,Kullu.This will be the 1st DEIC for the state of Himachal Pradesh. Early detection of developmental disabilities and Therapy services like Paediatric Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Parental Counselling and social work services will be provided at DEIC, Kullu. This is a tie up between an NGO Samphia Foundation working in the disability sector in Kullu and National Heath Mission, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh under Rastriya Bal Swastha Karyakram ( RBSK )
