In a move aimed at long-term development planning and institutional collaboration, the Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (MSHIPA) and GIZ India (The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at the HP Secretariat.
The MoU was signed by C. Paulrasu, Secretary (Training & Foreign Assignment), and Rajiv Ahal of GIZ India, in the presence of MSHIPA Director. The agreement focuses on the joint preparation of the ‘SAMRIDH Himachal-2045’ vision document, a 20-year strategic roadmap for the state’s sustainable and inclusive development.
The partnership outlines collaborative efforts in the form of trainings, workshops, policy support, institutional systems, and knowledge sharing to realize the goals of SAMRIDH Himachal. The initiative will engage a wide range of stakeholders including citizens, government officials, academia, civil society, media, technical experts, and elected representatives.
This MoU signifies a forward-looking approach to governance through strategic planning and global cooperation, aiming to address contemporary challenges and build a resilient, progressive Himachal Pradesh.
