The MY Bharat District-Level Cultural Competition is inviting young participants to showcase their creativity and spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse through art and performance. The theme of the competition is “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat”.
Participants can take part in various categories, including music, dance, theatre, painting, debate, short films, slogan writing and slam poetry.
Competition Categories
1. Music (Folk Songs)
Participants can present original compositions or traditional adaptations based on the theme of a drug-free India in local languages or dialects, preferably using regional musical instruments.
2. Dance
A group competition where teams of 5 to 10 members can present a 5–8 minute choreographed performance in classical, folk or contemporary styles.
3. Nukkad Natak / Mime Acts
Performances highlighting the dangers of addiction and promoting the message of recovery and a healthy lifestyle.
4. Painting Competition
Create artwork showcasing the harmful impacts of drug abuse and the dream of a drug-free India.
5. Debate / Elocution
Participants can speak on topics such as “Role of Youth in Eradicating the Drug Menace” and “Peer Pressure vs Personal Choice.”
6. Short Film / Reel Competition
Create 60-second digital-first reels or short films and upload them through the MY Bharat portal.
7. Slogan Writing
Write powerful slogans promoting awareness against substance abuse and upload them on the MY Bharat portal.
8. Slam Poetry
Present a 3–5 minute original spoken-word performance reflecting the youth’s voice against substance abuse.
Important Information
- District-level winners will advance to the State Level, and State winners will compete at the National Level in New Delhi.
- No cash prize will be provided at the District Level.
- Travelling allowance will not be provided to participants.
- Refreshments and participation certificates will be given to all participants.
- Slogan writing and reel-making competitions will be conducted online, while other events will be held in physical mode.
- Details regarding venues and physical events will be communicated to participants.

All participants must register through the MY Bharat portal before the deadline.
