Nasha Mukt Pledge at DC Office

In a bid to strengthen the fight against drug abuse, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Abhishek Verma administered an anti-drug pledge to the staff of the Deputy Commissioner’s office during a program organized at Bachat Bhawan Auditorium under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’.

Addressing the gathering, the ADC emphasized that drug abuse has seeped into households across the nation, and collective action is the only way to eliminate it. He called upon all officials to work as a united front against substance abuse and to spread awareness in society about its ill effects.

DSP Amit Thakur highlighted the critical role of public intelligence in curbing drug trafficking. He encouraged citizens to report drug-related information through the Drug-Free Himachal mobile app, assuring that all informant details remain strictly confidential.

The event was attended by District Welfare Officer Kapil Sharma, along with other district-level officers and employees.
