National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Application Deadline Extended

A spokesperson of the education department informed here today that dates for applying and submitting of online scholarship application forms on National Scholarship portal (NSP) for the academic session 2023-24 under the State and Centrally sponsored scholarship schemes has been extended upto 16th January, 2024.

He said that as per the revised schedule extended dates for students registration on NSP portal for the session in all schemes is 16th January, 2024, whereas closing dates for first level verification is 30th January, 2024 and for second level verification is 31st January. 2024. He requested all the Heads of the Institutions, Schools, Colleges, Universities and Deputy Directors of Higher Education to ensure submission of online application forms of eligible students on NSP so that students of the State studying in any Government, Government aided or Private affiliated Institution, within or outside of the State may be encouraged to improve their merit or performance in studies.

He said that no extension will be provided further and it will be the sole responsibility of the Head of the Institution that all eligible students should apply within a stipulated time period.
