President, Droupadi Murmu during her four days sojourn at Shimla, visited the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) on Wednesday. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla was also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Prof. Shashiprabha Kumar, Chairperson of the Institute, Prof. Nageswar Rao, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU New Delhi and Director of the Institute, Prof. Shailendra Raj Mehta, Vice-chairman, Subrat Kumar Pradhan, Secretary welcomed the President. Education Minister, Rohit Thakur, who is also Minister in waiting, was also present on the occasion amongst others.
