The High Court of Himachal Pradesh held a Full Court Address to bid farewell to Hon’ble Ms.Justice Sabina, Acting Chief Justice, who demitted office today, on superannuation. Justice Sabina’s career highlights
Justice Sabina, born on 20.04.1961, was an Additional District Judge in 1997, Sessions Judge in 2004. An additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court in 2008, and Permanent Judge in 2010. She was transferred to Rajasthan High Court in 2016 and assumed office as a Judge there. She took oath as a Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh on 08.10.2021, and became Acting Chief Justice on 21.01.2023.

Justice Sabina addressed the gathering and spoke about the responsibility, integrity, and commitment to the cause of justice that comes with being a Judge. She also advised young advocates to focus on consistent hard work, sincerity, integrity, and perseverance. Justice Sabina urged senior lawyers to teach the younger generation. The concepts of law and inculcate in them court manners, courtesy, and etiquettes.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vivek Singh Thakur spoke highly of Justice Sabina’s traits of discipline, hard work, and punctuality. He also praised her legal pragmatism and the progress made in the projects under her leadership. Aimed at extending maximum facilities to the legal fraternity, including the Bar.
