Be the Pride of Himachal Pradesh at the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017

Applications are now open for the state audition to be held in Shimla on 12th March

India’s most exciting, glamorous and sought after beauty pageant is underway and continues its talent hunt at Radisson Hotel, Lower Bharari Road in Shimla. With a new and improvised format, Miss India this year in its 54th edition will be touring to all 30 states of the nation and to crown 30 state representatives. The top 3 of Himachal Pradesh have been given a golden ticket to the North zonal crowning ceremony to be held in Delhi at Leela Ambience Convention Hotel on 16th April. The most deserving candidate from each of the eight states i.e.  Miss India Delhi, Miss India Haryana, Miss India Himachal Pradesh, Miss India Jammu and Kashmir, Miss India Madhya Pradesh, Miss India Punjab, Miss India Uttar Pradesh and Miss India Uttarakhand will represent their state at the grand finale which is going to be held in Mumbai in June.

The day long audition is expected to witness an overwhelming response from the city as always, with the hope of local talent winning the prestigious title. For the very first time, the pageant will host mentors for each zone who will guide the contestants to merit. To take charge of the proceeding for the North Zone we have none other than the former Miss India, Bollywood actress, television host and model Neha Dhupia.

Neha said, “I feel very proud of mentoring the girls from the North. Since I belong from the North myself, I have a special attachment to the region. So in whatever way as a friend or mentor, I would want them to know that I am there for them”.

 The eligibility criteria to apply for fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017:

  • Height – 5’5” and above
  • Age – 18-25 (as of 31st December 2017)
  • Nationality – Indian (Valid Indian passport holder) & OCI card holder (she cannot win the miss India title and can only win the runner up titles)

Application criteria –

  • Birth State – The applicant can apply from her birth state.
  • Current state – The applicant can apply from the state she is currently residing / employed / studying at.
  • Native state – The applicant can apply from either of her parents birth state or from the state her parents are currently residing in.

To encourage maximum participation, the height criteria are reduced to 5’5’’ and swimwear round is eliminated.

The finalists of fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017 will undergo vigorous training from the best experts of the industry before the Grand Finale to be held in June.
