Rohit Thakur Meets Injured Teachers at IGMC

Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur visited the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital on Sunday to check on the condition of teachers injured in a tragic road accident while returning to Ani on Saturday evening.

During his visit, the minister met injured teachers Reena Kumari and Tara Devi, spoke with doctors, and reviewed their treatment progress. He instructed hospital authorities to ensure the best possible medical care and no lapse in treatment.

Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Thakur mourned the death of four teachers in the accident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He assured that the state government and Education Department stand firmly with the affected families and will extend all necessary support.

Calling the incident a heartbreaking loss to the education community, he said the tragedy has left an irreplaceable void. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and strength for their families in this difficult time.

Senior education official B.R. Sharma and Medical Officer Dr. Satish Kanwar accompanied the minister during the hospital visit.
