The subsidy was released virtually by KVIC Chairman Manoj Kumar from the Rajghat office in New Delhi, in the presence of KVIC CEO Roop Rashi and other senior officials. The disbursement is linked to loan sanctions totaling ₹906 crore, aiming to support new micro-enterprise projects nationwide.

Speaking at the occasion, Manoj Kumar stated,

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, the PMEGP scheme has not only provided financial assistance but has become a grassroots social movement that is empowering youth, women, and artisans towards self-employment and entrepreneurship.”

He further highlighted that the scheme is playing a crucial role in building a self-reliant and developed India, particularly by fostering sustainable livelihood opportunities in rural areas.
