Samridhi Bhawan Inaugurated in Dharamshala

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated Samridhi Bhawan, the newly constructed office complex of the Municipal Corporation Dharamshala in Kangra district. Built at a cost of ₹24.47 crore, the state-of-the-art facility is set to enhance administrative efficiency and deliver improved public services to residents.

Designed to meet Earthquake Zone-5 standards, the building spans 2,511 square metres and incorporates advanced structural safety features. Its double-basement parking can accommodate up to 80 vehicles, with separate parking areas for staff and the public.

The new complex is equipped with modern amenities including a fire alarm system, a 50 KW solar power plant, rainwater harvesting structures, and a 30,000-litre water storage facility, making it a step towards sustainable urban governance.

Highlighting the importance of Samridhi Bhawan, the Chief Minister said the centrally located facility would strengthen civic operations in Dharamshala and serve as a model for future urban infrastructure projects across Himachal Pradesh.
