A delegation of Sunni area of Shimla Rural Assembly Constituency led by Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at his official residence here today and expressed gratitude for sanctioning the SDM office at Sunni which has been a long standing demand of the people of the area.
Chief Minister said that the demand for SDM office in Sunni was approved in the recent Cabinet meeting. This office had been opened to address the needs of the people of the region. The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to ensuring equitable development across the State.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Principal Advisor to Chief Minister (Media) Naresh Chauhan, various panchayat representatives of Sunni area and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
