Shimla: 16 मई 2024, को टूटीकण्डी स्थित स्वर्ण पब्लिक विद्यालय में शिक्षकों के लिये ‘सक्रिय शिक्षा’ विषय पर सेमिनार का आयोजन किया गया। इस सेमिनार के अंतर्गत ‘नमन परियोजन’ जो कि बी. एस. एन. स्कूल की पूर्व प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती कल्पना शर्मा द्वारा शुरू की गई है पर भी चर्चा हुई। श्रीमती कल्पना शर्मा वर्तमान में “कृष्णामूर्ति फाऊंडेशन आफ इंडिया” के साथ काम कर रही है।
यह परियोजना शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक मील का पत्थर स्वर्गीय ऊषा शर्मा की श्रद्धाजंली के रूप में चिह्नित है जो कि बी. एस. एन. स्कूल की संस्थापक थी। इस सेमिनार में शिक्षकों को शिक्षा में सुधार तथा विद्याधियों में सक्रियशिक्षा के भिन्न-भिन्न तरीके बताये। इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत स्कूलों के लिये शिक्षा पर मुफ्त कार्यशालाओं का विभिन्न स्कूलों में आयोजन किया जा रहा है। स्वर्ण पबिलक स्कूल ने इस परियोजना को शुरू करने का बीड़ा सबसे पहले उठाया।
स्कूल की प्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती सीमा मेहता ने भी सक्रिय शिक्षा के द्वारा शिक्षकों को बताया कि किस प्रकार आज के युग की समस्याओं का सामना करने के लिये बच्चों को तैयार किया जाये। साथ-ही-साथ श्रीमती कल्पना शर्मा जी का भी इस सेमिनार को सफलपूवर्क पूर्ण करने के लिये धन्यवाद किया।
English Text – Naman is a project undertaken by an Educator, Kalpana Sharma, former principal of BSN School, currently working with Krishnamurti Foundation of India. She is the junior school Headmistress at Rajghat Besant School, Varanasi and is also a special educator.
This project is marked as a homage to a mile stone in Education, Late Mrs. Usha Sharma, who was the founder of BSN School Shimla. She started the school in March, 1975. Academic session 2024 to 2025 has been marked to pay respect to her tremendous efforts in education. She raised BSN to a well established school with her untiring efforts.
Under the project Naman, Kalpana Sharma, daughter of Late Smt. Usha Sharma, intends to do free workshops and sessions on education for schools. SWARAN PUBLIC School has taken the lead to initiate this project.
Kalpana Sharma will be doing a session on ” Active Learning” with the teachers of Swaran. The first session will be held on 16 th May, followed by another one in first week of June.
The 21 st century skills on education talk about competency based learning and Active learning is one essential component of it. It is the need of the hour that schools gear up for this ride to equip their students to meet the upcoming challenges of today’s era.
