National Book Trust (NBT), India, is organizing the Shimla Book Fair in collaboration with the Department of Language Art & Culture, HP from 25th June to 3rd July at Gaiety Threatre and Padam Dev Complex, Shimla. The event will feature 47 publishers from across the nation with more than 60 stalls that will house a wide range of books covering each and every genre to engage the literati of Shimla. At the same time, daily event have been planned for children, youth, senior writers to engage in open dialogues and competitions especially for children to help learn the importance of reading.

The event will be inaugurated by Govind Singh Thakur, the Education Minister of HP along with guest of honour Secretary LAC Rakesh Kanwar and NBT Chairman Govind Prasad Sharma and Director NBT Yuvraj Malik.
