Shimla Hills Echo with Spirit of Mashobra Marathon

Run and Thrive Fitness organized the Shimla Mashobra Marathon at HIPA Fairlawns in Dhalli, Shimla, witnessing participation from nearly 200 runners from different parts of the country. The scenic hill marathon was organized under the leadership of Kuldeep Sandhu.

The event received support from SJVN, Dr. Manmohan Singh HIPA, SPARSH HOSPITAL, SOTTO Himachal Pradesh, Jasvinder Construction, Bahl Production, Sajawat Construction, Max Protein, and BONN.

Participants ran through the picturesque and demanding Mashobra hill route stretching from HIPA to Baikhalti amid the Himalayan landscape. The marathon featured three categories — Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10 KM Run.

Winners of the Marathon

42 KM Marathon (Men’s Category)
Krishan Raj Rokaya clinched first place with a timing of 2:58:11.

42 KM Marathon (Women’s Category)
Navanya Sharma secured the top position by completing the race in 5:37:54.

Half Marathon (Men’s Category)
Jatin finished first with a timing of 1:15:52.

Half Marathon (Women’s Category)
Nisha Chandnani emerged victorious with a timing of 2:37:25.

10 KM Run (Men’s Category)
Anshul secured first place after finishing the race in 36 minutes and 26 seconds.

10 KM Run (Women’s Category)
Anamika topped the category with a timing of 45 minutes and 58 seconds.
