Shrawan Manta, 2008 Batch HAS Officer, currently serving as Managing Director of HP State Cooperative Bank, was elected President of the Himachal Administrative Officers (HAS), Association and Prashant Sirkek, 2010 batch officer servicing as Addl Director, HIPA, as General Secretary, in annual general body meeting of the association held through hybrid mode on Saturday.
HAS Association is a registered body of the HAS Officers which looks after the service conditions, career progression and welfare of the service officers along with suggestive roles to enhance the standard of service and quality of service delivery.
HAS officers are playing a very significant role in the development of the state and the role of officers during disasters was exemplary. A contribution of more than Rs. 20 lakhs was made by the service officers during the disaster which took place last year.
