Sixth Phase of Mahaquiz to Start From 2nd September

A spokesperson of the State Government said here today that the sixth phase of Janbhagidari Se Sushashan-Himachal Ka Mahaquiz would be held from 2nd to 15th September, 2022. Forest, Youth Services and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania will launch this phase of Mahaquiz based on youth sports and forest theme from Atal Stadium Nurpur. He said that this Mahaquiz was launched by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on the occasion of National Technology Day on 11th May, 2022. Five phases of this Mahaquiz have been completed in which 71,445 people have participated. He said that any interested person can take part in this quiz and win prizes.

To participate in the Mahaquiz, one has to register on the MyGov Himachal portal, he added. The process of registration is free and its seventh and eighth phase will also start soon. He said that the objective of this quiz, being organized online, is to reach as many people as possible and make them aware about the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments. In each phase of the Mahaquiz, ten questions related to Central and State Government schemes will be asked in Hindi and English language, which will have to be answered in two minutes and thirty seconds, he added. He said that after the completion of eight stages of the Mahaquiz, the winner would be given a prize money of Rs 51,000, Rs 21,000 for second position and Rs 11,000 for the third winner. An amount of Rs.1,000 each will also be given to the participants for commendable performance in each phase.
