The differently abled participants took part in various sporting events on day two of the FODA festivities, held at Bishop Cottons School. After the lighting of the Torch, a March Past was held by all the participating teams. The events were planned as such that each team member participated in at least two sporting events, namely, runs, jumps or walking races. The winners were awarded medal by the chief guest, Nilay Kapoor, Chief General Manager, NABARD.

The day was more or less celebrated as a ‘Mela’, as children enjoyed visiting various stalls, played games, enjoyed ice-creams and drinks, while relishing chana bhatura, kadi chawal and other delicacies. The children were overwhelmed with joy, which made everyone present happy, seeing their kids smiling. (CLICK TO SEE ALL VIDEOS)

School Headmaster RC Robindon and Head Junior School Dorothy Robinson took utmost care to make the event a success and offered the best of facilities to the special kids to make them comfortable so that they could enjoy the festivities.

  1. The joy on the participants face tells everyone in the race is the winner, coming first is the secondary aspect. Hopefully all abled persons should understand life is not rat race, live the moment.

Thank you for the special lesson
