Muskan and Pratibha Thakur, who were appointed Assistant Professors in the college cadre, paid a courtesy call on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan today. Muskaan and Pratibha, both specially abled, are scholars in Music and Political Science from Himachal Pradesh University as well.
The Governor and Lady Governor Janaki Shukla have honoured both of them by presenting a Himachali cap and shawl. On the occasion, the Governor said that these girls were an inspiration for the entire State, as after facing so many challenges of life, they continued their studies and completed their Ph.D. to get appointment as Assistant Professor, he said. Muskaan’s father Jai Chand and Chairman, Umang Foundation Prof. Ajay Srivastava were also present on the occasion.
