St. Edward’s FESTIVISTA 2024 – Literary Fest to ‘Fit India’ Drill Finale

St. Edward’s School concluded its Annual Fest: FESTIVISTA 2024 on 29th September with a Grand Finale, featuring an impressive drill display centred around the theme: ‘Fit India’ by students from classes 6 to 8.

The event was graced by Mr. Sharwan Kumar Manta, Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, who honoured the occasion by distributing the school’s Annual Awards to outstanding students. The Annual Fest unfolded in several phases, beginning with a ‘Literary Fest’ on 28th September.

The fest featured engaging sessions led by subject experts, along with a diverse range of activities including an Art Exhibition, Book Fair and a Mini Fete. The proceeds from these events will be donated to support a noble cause, showcasing the school’s commitment to social responsibility. On 21st September, the Primary section presented their programme themed ‘Shine Your Light,’ a mesmerizing showcase of the beauty and harmony of the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Sky.

The event was graced by Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, Chief Conservator of Forests at the Himalayan Forest Research Institute, who lauded the students for their creative and meaningful performances. Earlier in the month, on 14th September, Kindergarten children presented a heartwarming programme themed ‘Affinity,’ which was graced by Mrs. Swarit Karpa and Mrs. Anvita Chatterjee.

The young students captivated the audience with their performances, exemplifying the theme of connection and unity. With its annual celebrations spanning across diverse Cultural, Literary, and Artistic Activities, St. Edward’s School once again demonstrated its commitment to holistic education and community engagement.
