After the lamp lighting ceremony, little students of school performed a welcome dance and showcased their dancing skills.

Each item showcased different flavour including that of culture, colour and mood; which brought happiness and life in the hall. Everyone felt teleported to a different time where daily troubles seemed light years away.

When it comes to acting, students did not shy away as they gave breathtaking performances while staging a Hindi and an English Play – “Baccho ki Kachheri” and “Ma” respectively. Both plays had different moods as the Hindi play depicted the innocence of little ones who are far away from deceiving and selfishness. The outlook on world and its problem is way too simple and innocent. In a light tone they gave the message of innocence which is getting faded out in the current times among the adults.

Whereas on the other hand, the English play highlighted the importance of Mother in everyones’ life. It highlighted the discontentment among a girl with her mother. The fairy grants her a wish for replacing her mother and soon she discovers there is no replacement of real mother and how much she must value as the care she can give can never come from any other person in the world. Her restrictions are also for good of her children.

Students melodiously sang songs like Make Me A Channel of Your Peace, and the School Anthem.

Numerous students including Akhit Kumar, Kamya Negi and Gaurang Dixit of Class I were awarded General Proficiency prize and Lakshey Verma was awarded for full attendance.
