Interacting with media at the Sera Rest House in Nadaun today, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reacted to the statement made by the Leader of Opposition (LoP), Jai Ram Thakur over the States share in Chandigarh and advised him to look into the issues of the welfare of the State in broader perspective across the party lines rather than keeping such a narrow ideology.

He asked the BJP leaders to expedite the matter of Himachal Pradesh’s share in Chandigarh with the Union Government. While replying to another query of media on release of waters to neighbouring States, Sh. Sukhu said that Haryana was also demanding more water from Kishau and Renuka Ji dam from Himachal and the deliberations were being held on the issue to solve it amicably.

The Chief Minister also listened to the grievances of the people at Nadaun. Later, the Chief Minister was accorded a warm reception by the people en-route Chintpurni at Rakkar in Jaswan Pragpur assembly constituency of Kangra district.
