Actor and fitness icon Suniel Shetty headlined the Sundays on Cycle event under the Fit India Movement, celebrating eight years of GST with a nationwide push for health and wellness. Held across CBIC-GST centres, the initiative saw participation from Olympians, chess grandmaster Tania Sachdev, top cyclists, and thousands of citizens in a synchronised cycling and fitness drive.

In Mumbai, Shetty emphasized, “Wellness is far cheaper than illness”, urging consistent fitness habits. In Thiruvananthapuram, Olympians and elite cyclists inspired over 200 participants, while Delhi’s Major Dhyan Chand Stadium hosted multi-activity wellness sessions.

With over 5,500 locations engaged since December 2024, the campaign has reached over 3 lakh people. Backed by celebrities like Sania Mirza, Milind Soman, and John Abraham, the movement reinforces fitness as a daily, accessible practice for all — turning Sundays into a celebration of health and unity.
