A bright sunny morning was exciting enough for parents of Junior Wing of Auckland House Girls School, to experience the sports display and see their kids perform for the first time. A wave of hands, loud claps and loud cheering resounded the school ground as parents encouraged their wards on this important day. The chief guest for the occasion was an alumna Indiraa Bhasin who was warmly greeted by the Director Principal Sunita John and Auckland Boys wing Principal Michael A John.

The event began with a beautiful Lazium and Dumbbells display, followed by flower drill and gymnastics. Races includes running with a pinwheel, balloon, ball, balancing the cup, flag, sorting the balls, jalebi race, dressing up, one-legged, and frog race. Skating, musical chairs and parent’s races added excitement to the event. (CLICK TO SEE ALL VIDEOS)

The event ended with the awarding of medal to the winners of the various races and an encouraging and motivational message by the chief guest for the students to perform to the best of their abilities.
