The teachers experienced a deep sense of warmth and respect when Teacher’s Day was celebrated at North Oak Public School, Sanjauli, as they were greeted by students with warm wishes and lovely cards. Director-Principal Namita Lal along with the management had organized a very lovely and fun filled get together for the teachers. There were games, fun and food accompanied by the Principal’s speech.
She addressed the teachers with her encouraging words and said that the teachers were the most fortunate to have taught people in society belonging to different ranks and positions. She called them true builders of the society and the world at large. She asked the teachers to create an identity of their own and to make a difference in society. She ended on a positive note saying that “A good teacher is like a candle — it consumes itself to light the way for others.”
