Skill building exercises and sharing knowledge are part of the innovative idea that is being projected by hosting of the Children’s Theatre Festival — Inter-School Hindi Drama Competition scheduled to be held on 14 & 15 October, by Department of Language & Culture in collaboration with Keekli Charitable Trust.

In lieu of this a theatrical workshop was held in Arya Samaj school by noted theatre personality, Dr Kamal Sharma. He undertook a few theatrical exercises to improve the body language and mannerisms of various characters portrayed by the students. He also laid emphasis on diction as he made the children practice as well as few improvements on enactment based on the script written by them.

Fifteen schools with be participating in this event as they will adapt stories written by Himachal’s writers, that have been adapted into scripts by the team.
