The third day of the Annual Training Camp by 1 HP Girls BN NCC Solan began with a vigorous Physical Training (PT) session. The cadets demonstrated great enthusiasm and discipline as they engaged in various exercises aimed at enhancing their physical fitness and teamwork. The morning PT set a positive tone for the rest of the day’s activities.
Following the PT session, the cadets participated in Drill Training. This session focused on perfecting their marching skills, coordination, and discipline. The cadets showed significant improvement and dedication, reflecting their commitment to the training.
Despite the initial shortage of ammunition, the efforts of Camp Commandant Colonel Sanjay Shandil ensured that the cadets could conduct firing practice. A new firing range was identified and prepared under Colonel Shandil’s supervision. His hands-on approach and dedication allowed the cadets to gain valuable firing experience, which is crucial for their training.
In the morning, Third Officer Krishna Mehta delivered an insightful lecture on Disaster Management. The lecture aimed to equip the cadets with knowledge and skills to handle emergencies and disasters effectively. The session was highly informative and prepared the cadets to respond confidently in times of crisis.
In the afternoon, a comprehensive lecture and demonstration on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) were conducted by medical professionals. This session was invaluable as it empowered the cadets with life-saving skills. The cadets actively participated in the demonstration, understanding the critical steps involved in performing CPR.
A group song competition was held, involving all participating institutions. The cadets showcased their talents and team spirit through their musical performances. The competition fostered camaraderie and provided a platform for the cadets to express themselves creatively.
The day concluded with an energetic games class. All cadets participated with full energy, engaging in various sports and games. This session not only promoted physical fitness but also encouraged teamwork and healthy competition among the cadets.
