Thought Provoking & Spectacular Gala Event by Chapslee Students

chapslee.23.8.15cStudent of Chapslee School won hearts of spectators with their talented performances during the Annual Day Celebrations held at Kalibari Hall, Shimla. During the concert held from August 22 to 23, spectators witnessed amazing talent of the students. The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest followed by the school report. Principal of the school welcomed the chief guest and appreciated the role played by parents and teachers in life of students. She highlighted various achievements of the school during the year and appreciated the efforts made by staff and students.

chapslee.23.8.15bNearly 150 students contributed in the event to make it a grand success. During the event performances like Shiv Tandava Strotra; Every Day Things; Rendezvous with Fruits and Vegetables; Masti Ki Pathshala; Small Pain in My Chest; Gabriel, the Good; Zara Sochiye; Chaap Tilak Sab Cheeni Re Mose; Sapna Dekha Hai Maine; Demons; Ek Kambal Ke Leye; So Not Fair; Glimpse of Haryana; Itihaas ki Pareeksha; Designing Female; Mushaira; Finale and Shiv Kailashonn Ke Vaasi  were performed.

chapslee.23.8.15aChief Guest, Brigadier Anoop Bhaskar applauded and congratulated all the students for an amazing and an incredible show. He expressed gratitude for inviting him to such a great event where he got an opportunity to witness this variety concert. He lauded the efforts of both the teachers and the students alike for all their hard work in making this day a grand success.

The day concluded with vote of thanks; followed by the National Anthem; proposed by the School Captain, reflecting on the times gone by in the school. He thanked everyone for being part of the show and contributing in making it a huge success. Each and every act was thought provoking and left a lot for spectators to contemplate on.

While commenting on the entire show majority of parents were seen overwhelmed with joy seeing their children perform live in front of them. They all wanted the performances to continue forever as for all of them it was the best and breath-taking moment.
