Toy Biz Expo Boosts Made-in-India Toy Brands

The 17th Toy Biz International B2B Expo at Bharat Mandapam showcased India’s rapidly growing toy industry, bringing together manufacturers, buyers, retailers, educators and startups from across the country and abroad.

The exhibition featured educational toys, STEM kits, puzzles, remote-controlled vehicles and learning aids, with business meetings and product demonstrations highlighting innovation, quality manufacturing and export potential. The event also reflected the government’s push to strengthen Made in India toy production.

Jaipur-based VU Toys showcased battery-operated construction vehicles and remote-controlled toys, with founder Pankaj Sharma highlighting the company’s in-house manufacturing and support received under the CGTMSE scheme.

Mumbai-based Edu Edge displayed Montessori-inspired educational toys and STEM learning kits. Founder Bela Desai said government support for MSMEs has helped the company expand its reach to schools and overseas markets.

Kolkata’s Dr. MADY’S Innovation Pvt. Ltd. exhibited science kits and electronic learning toys, while CEO Anirban Gupta said the company’s patented products are now exported to the US, Europe and the Middle East.

Pune-based startup Kitoy Creations also showcased its Made-in-India toy range. CEO Kartik Jain said MSME support has enabled the company to participate in exhibitions and explore international markets.

The expo concluded with strong business interest, underlining India’s growing focus on innovation, indigenous manufacturing and expanding its presence in the global toy market.
