transend.jan15aRecently the people of Shimla City got an opportunity to get indulged in a musical and dance extravaganza in form of an event ‘Transcend’ organized by Sudhanshu and Piyush, members of the Younglinks – a group of youngsters all committed to bring change in the society, at historic Gaiety Theatre’s Amphitheater, The Ridge, Shimla.

transend.jan15bThe organizers informed that the event was conducted with the objective of providing young artist a platform to showcase their talent. We consider it to be our responsibility to promote and encourage the reaping musician’s who possess a desire to showcase their X-factor on stage. The event was on the cards in collaborations of Younglinks, The Real Victory, Hide Out Cafe, various bands as coordinating teams, theatre group, sponsoring hands and musicians respectively. ‘Nissi Band’ – Winner of Winter Carnival Manali 2015 have been supportive enough to take out time from their busy schedules and become part of this event as our guest of honor.

transend.jan15During the event Debashish, Sheetal and Prajwal mesmerized the audiences with their vocal talent whereas on the other hand Rajat’s dance moves made each one begging for more. 7 CHORDS Band added icing on the cake with their live performance.

While commenting on the performance Alisha Sharma, a college student said, “It has been a wonderful experience. The winter takes away the life from this place and with such events a new life springs up. It is good to see that youngsters are trying hard to give this city a new culture and something to look forward to other than dullness and boredom. There is nothing more pleasant than basking in the Sun in open and being entertained by musicians. Wish such events continue to be organized time and again”.
