Unveiling of STEMROBO at St Thomas School – A milestone in STEM Education Innovation

The St Thomas’s school auditorium was abuzz with excitement as students from classes 4 to 8 witnessed a significant event that promises to revolutionize their learning experience. The occasion was graced Chief Guest Dr. Pankaj Vaidya, Head of Computer and Data Science at Yogananda School of AI, Shoolini University, along with distinguished guest Naman Sharma, Senior Manager Outreach at Shoolini University, and the LEAD Programme Team. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of STEMROBO, a cutting-edge robotic system designed to enhance students’ learning outcomes in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This innovative system aims to provide hands-on experience and foster a deeper understanding of complex concepts through interactive learning.

Dr. Vaidya highlighted the immense benefits of incorporating robotics and AI into education. He emphasized how these technologies can revolutionize the learning experience, making it more interactive and effective. His insights provided a glimpse into the future of education, where AI and robotics play a crucial role in shaping young minds.

School Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty expressed delight in being the first school to launch STEMROBO, marking a significant step towards becoming a tech-savvy institution. She mentioned that this launch is particularly special as the school celebrates its centenary year, making STEMROBO a unique gift to the children. She highlighted how this innovative programme would elevate the school’s educational standards to the next level. Further, she acknowledged the collective efforts of teachers, students and the LEAD Team in making this event a success. She commended their dedication and hard work in bringing this advanced learning tool to the school.
