Vikramaditya Singh And Dharmendra Pradhan Discuss Skill Development Initiatives

PWD & Youth Services and Sports Minister Vikramaditya Singh met Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan at New Delhi today. Vikramaditya Singh urged the Union Minister for sanctioning a Kendriya Vidyalaya for his Constituency adding that there is a huge demand for this in his assembly segment for imparting quality education to the students.

He apprised the Minister that one building of the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) is under construction in Ghanahati near Shimla and urged to start new trades for Women like Draughtsman, Civil and Fashion Design and Technology under Craft Instructor Training Scheme etc in the new complex.

He said that at present training in Desktop Publishing, Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (English) for female candidates were running under Craftsmen Training Scheme and added that Infrastructure of Food Production/Food Beverage Service is though available but has not been started till date. He requested to get the proposal submitted by the authorities for improving NSTI project. The Union Minister has assured of all possible help to cater to the needs of the youth.
