World AIDS Day-2021: Diaspora of Events Organized at I.G.M.C. Shimla

End Inequalities, End AIDS

Under the aegis of HPSACS, on the occasion of World AIDS Day-2021, Department of Community Medicine, IGMC observed the maiden event in a unique and innovative manner. All the medical students of batch 2020 displayed the key message of theme “End Inequalities, End AIDS” through Diaspora of events.

All the Events were organized in competitive manner and included participation of budding medicos through, Ramp walk, Stand up comedy, Poetry, Rangoli making, Model, Videos, Mask painting, Puppet Show, Posters, Slogan writing, Folk dance and Role play.

Principal I.G.M.C Shimla, Dr S.S Sodhi presided over the function applauded the students for their worthy contributions in delivering the key message of prevention. Professor and Head, Dr Anmol Gupta conveyed that department is always remains forefront in organizing that kind of events and key focus this time was, holistic development of all medicos with fine tuning their skills in all forms of communication. ‘Puppet Show’ was adjudged the best activity based on evaluation and popular vote.
