A special screening of the 100th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ program was organized at Raj Bhavan. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Prasar Bharati hosted the event. Objective of the Program

The Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla, who was the chief guest at the event, said that the program was a platform for social dialogue. Its objective was to create a positive change in society by projecting people with inspirational work as social heroes. He emphasized that several topics discussed in the program were directly related to public concerns.

Inspiring People from Himachal (100th Edition Of PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ )

The Governor mentioned the people from Himachal who were mentioned in the program and became an inspiration for the country. These include individuals associated with Solan-based ‘Manav Bharti’ Sanstha, teacher Ashish Behl, primary teacher Ram Kumar Joshi, and Jagdish Chand.

Presentations and Discussions

A ‘Discussion Session’ was organized on drug addiction, tuberculosis eradication, millet cultivation and natural farming. D.K. Chaudhary, Dr. Nidhi, Dr. Gopal Beri, Raghubir Singh, and Mahendra Bhawani gave presentations. Padma Shri Nek Ram Sharma also expressed his views.

Appeal to Contribute

The Governor urged people to contribute towards drug de-addiction, Pradhan Mantri T.B. Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, natural farming, and millet cultivation. He emphasized that these subjects were related to public concerns and required everyone’s cooperation.

The event was attended by senior officials of the state government, officers from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Prasar Bharati, national award winners, and social influencers. It was an opportunity to celebrate the inspiring work of people and create awareness about issues of public concern.
