- Teghbir Singh from New Zealand Won NRI Golf Tour With Score of 153.
- Purpose of this golf tour is to promote Golf tourism in the Tri- City.
- To develop ties amongst NRIs as well as with local community and government.
- 80 NRIs and 20 invitees played today.
- Practice round at Forest Hill Resort and 2 day match was played at Chandigarh Golf Club and Panchkula Golf Club.
- To develop business ties with Indian corporates.

Teghbir Singh from New Zealand won the 12th Hindustan Petroleum Golfing Tour on final day at Panchkula Golf course. Raj Klair from Toronto Canada finished runner up. In fact both the players were tied and best todays’ Card were counted to decide the winner. This was 0-9 handicap category.
Aadil Bedi was the attraction of the tournament on day 2 on hole 17 par 3. Hole was called beat the budding golfer. On day 1 star attraction was Tavleen Batra who stood at par 3 hole no 8 at Chandigarh golf course. Every foursome played with budding golfers on one hole.
CSR Reddy President CGA said, “This type of tournament will promote ties between budding Indian golfers playing abroad and NRI golfers residing overseas. This will result in providing board and lodging to youngsters. This event will promote business in the hospitality sector”.
