₹216 Cr Boost: CM Unveils 33 Projects in Mandi

CM Sukhu, during his visit to Sarkaghat in Mandi district, dedicated and laid foundation stones for 33 development projects worth ₹216 crore, covering the Sarkaghat, Seraj, Drang, and Dharampur assembly constituencies. Among the inaugurated projects were major infrastructure works such as a ₹54.91 crore multi-village rural piped water scheme for Baldwara, Bhadrota, and Gopalpur blocks, a ₹32 crore Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School at Sarkaghat, a ₹22.82 crore double-lane bridge over the Beas River at Kothi Pattan, and an ₹11.06 crore community health centre building at Marhi. Other key facilities included science labs, school and panchayat buildings, bridges, roads, and health centres across the region.

Foundation stones were also laid for crucial water supply augmentation schemes, rainwater harvesting structures, a ₹12.91 crore Government ITI at Mohin, and various health and education infrastructure projects. The Chief Minister emphasized that these initiatives are part of the government’s broader mission to strengthen basic infrastructure, improve service delivery, and promote inclusive development in rural areas of Himachal Pradesh.
