State Govt Begins Overseas Placement Drive

A State Government spokesperson announced today that the Himachal Pradesh Government has launched a new overseas employment initiative aimed at providing global job opportunities to the state’s youth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) is conducting a special recruitment drive for 300 Delivery Rider positions with Noon Food LLC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Interested candidates can apply through the specified Google Form link by 29 November 2025. The drive is being jointly organized by HPSEDC, the Department of Labour & Employment, and a recruitment agency registered with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of 2500 Dirhams, along with commission and tips, totaling approximately ₹70,000 to ₹1,00,000.

Applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria: they should have passed Class 10, be between 20–37 years of age, possess basic English knowledge, and hold a valid gear motorcycle driving licence. Candidates with facial or neck deformities or colour blindness will not be considered. Upon placement, they will be issued a UAE driving licence for a fee of 5500 Dirhams. A valid passport is mandatory for participation. Additionally, selected candidates must pay ₹35,400 (as approved by MEA) and ₹1,500 towards medical examination.

A week-long recruitment drive will be conducted across multiple districts in the first week of December 2025. Applicants can contact their nearest Labour & Employment Office or visit the HPSEDC website for detailed information regarding venues and schedules.
