The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted at 12 examination centres across Kangra on May 3, with more than 4,000 candidates set to appear for the medical entrance exam.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar reviewed preparations ahead of the examination, emphasizing smooth conduct and strict adherence to guidelines.
Authorities have instructed that all centres must ensure adequate arrangements including electricity, drinking water, seating facilities, and security measures. Police personnel will be deployed at each venue, while CCTV surveillance and signal jammers will be installed to maintain exam integrity.
The examination will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Entry for candidates will be permitted between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM, and gates will be closed sharply at 1:40 PM. Officials have advised students to reach centres early to avoid last-minute congestion and delays.
District administration has assured full preparedness to conduct the high-stakes examination in a fair and orderly manner.
