Thirty trainees from Himachal Pradesh Government ITIs were awarded certificates after successfully completing an international exposure programme in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani presented the certificates at the valedictory ceremony held at Almaty Management University.
The Minister said such programmes provide youth with exposure to global technical education, advanced industries, innovation and international workplace practices, helping them develop technical skills, leadership qualities and a global outlook.
During the programme, trainees attended expert sessions on Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, green technologies, sustainable engineering, professional ethics and cross-cultural communication. They also visited the Samal Water Bottling Plant, Rakhat Chocolate Factory, Almaty Green Market, Shymbulak mountain resort and Elina Group’s industrial facility to gain practical knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, safety standards and entrepreneurship.
Dharmani said the experience would help trainees become skilled professionals and future entrepreneurs capable of meeting the needs of modern industries. He added that Himachal Pradesh and Kazakhstan would continue to explore opportunities for collaboration in technical education, skill development, research and academic exchange.
