A delegation from Doon Assembly constituency of Solan district, led by MLA Ram Kumar, met CM Sukhu and apprised him of various developmental requirements of the area.
Interacting with the delegation, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to promoting balanced and inclusive development across Himachal Pradesh. He said strengthening the health and education sectors remains a top priority to ensure quality services for citizens. He added that adequate funds are available for developmental projects and the government is implementing major reforms to modernize these sectors.
The Chief Minister said that several important initiatives have been completed in the Doon constituency, including the establishment of the SDM office at Baddi, a 100-bed hospital and a Public Works Department Division, which will further improve administrative and healthcare facilities in the region.
He said the government is introducing the CBSE curriculum in government schools to provide students with better educational opportunities. Three government schools in the Doon constituency have already been upgraded to the CBSE pattern, allowing students, especially those from rural backgrounds, to access quality education at affordable costs. He added that teachers have been appointed in these schools and the process of further recruitment is underway.
MLA Ram Kumar expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for approving several government offices in the constituency and fulfilling development commitments made for the area. He said the state government has consistently focused on the progress of Doon constituency. He also requested financial support for the construction of a stadium, improvement of road infrastructure and invited the Chief Minister to visit the constituency.
