The Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton Memorial All India Inter-School Soccer Tournament 2026, hosted by Bishop Cotton School in Shimla, is set to conclude on August 25 following four days of competitive football and sportsmanship.
The tournament features participating teams from leading institutions across the country, including Pinegrove School, Genesis Global School, Daly College (Indore), SelaQui International School, Rashtriya Military School (Chail), and the host school, Bishop Cotton School.
Distinguished football personality and Director of Minerva Academy Football Club, Mr. Ranjit Bajaj, will grace the closing ceremony on August 25 as the Chief Guest. Mr. Bajaj has played a key role in developing grassroots football in India, leading Minerva Academy to produce numerous international youth players and achieving global success, including the Under-12 team’s victory at the Gothia Cup in Sweden in July 2026.
The four-day event aims to strengthen relationships between participating educational institutions while promoting core values such as discipline, leadership, camaraderie, and fair play. The upcoming closing ceremony will bring together players, coaches, officials, and students to recognize team achievements and conclude the tournament on a memorable note.
