Workshop on Financial Literacy of Women at YWCA of Simla

YWCALiteracy121216 (3)YWCA of Simla organized a workshop on Financial Literacy of Women as resource person for the workshop Ashwani Kumar (Retired Manager, Punjab National Bank, Shimla) spoke about various women entrepreneurship schemes run by the Government. He also shared that the Government has taken many decisions and initiatives to help and support women entrepreneurs.

YWCALiteracy121216 (2)The workshop covered a variety of topics, including budgeting, credit/debt, and the importance of financial management plans.

Rohini Singh, Secretary, said women with low level of family income and low level of education benefited significantly from the training imparted. The workshop was very well received and appreciated by the participants.
