Chapslee Public School, Shimla, was filled with life as young, bright, talented students from almost twenty city schools and around participated in the 10th Pasmashree Naina Devi Talent Contest – 2019 held in the school premises. Various inter school competitions were held — dry cooking, sketching, photography, dancing and Hindi and English Declamation. Students exhibited their extraordinary skills in all the respective competitions as they impressed the judges with their aptitude and skills.

This year too, the event saw participation from schools like HPS, Kaithu, Loreto Convent Tara Hall, JCB Public School, Rashtriya Military School HP, Durga Public School Solan, DAV Public School, Saraswati Paradise International School, Ivy International School, and the host school Chapslee among others.

Themes like “mothers can do anything” to “power of words” forced everyone to contemplate on one’s actions and life. Judges were pleased to hear children’s views and loved the way they projected the image of a mother.

“It was a great opportunity to meet new people and learn from them. We all are talented and it is only through a healthy competition that we grow and push our limits. We look forward to such events in future too, so that we know where we stand”, said Geetanjali one of the student participant.

From orator to artist and from taste buds to visual treat, you name it and you had it when it came to see the variety in the contest.
