In a significant move towards fostering economic growth and generating employment opportunities, the 27th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority convened under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has greenlit 29 project proposals. These proposals encompass the establishment of new industrial enterprises as well as the expansion of existing units, representing a substantial investment of approximately Rs. 1483 crore and the potential to create around 3961 job opportunities.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasized the State Government’s unwavering commitment to nurturing green industries that harmonize with the environment. He underlined the urgency of adopting eco-friendly measures to counteract the impact of natural disasters and climate change. The Chief Minister reiterated the administration’s dedication to maintaining a balance between development and environmental preservation, a priority that remains at the forefront of their agenda.
Among the newly approved proposals are initiatives by key players such as M/s Eastman Auto and Power Ltd., M/s Emmforce Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., M/s RSH Wellness Pvt. Ltd., M/s Clean Water and Allied Products Pvt. Ltd., and more. Furthermore, the Authority has given the green light to expansion projects by established entities like M/s HRA Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd., M/s Rich Products and Solutions Pvt. Ltd., M/s Winsome Textile Industries Ltd., and others.
The meeting, attended by various government dignitaries including Industries Minister Hashwardhan Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, and Principal Secretary Revenue Onkar Chand Sharma, marks a significant stride towards propelling Himachal Pradesh’s industrial growth while also boosting the employment landscape.
