Stthomas.8.8.15insideThe students had put in their heart and soul in making creative designs, with innovative tag lines supporting each decoration. They were given one hour to make their decorations. Vandita and Mehak from 3rd Class had made small flower baskets, while Navya and Ojas shared the message that ‘music and songs are more powerful than bullets and bombs’; ‘a smile is the beginning of peace’ was spread by Vaidhriti and Krish Deep Singh; Aman and Aryan from Class 5 shared the theme of radiance and strength, meanwhile Ankita and Rudraksh had a deep thought to share, ‘a quite conscious makes one strong’.

The senior wing girls and boys had much more serious themes to share, such as Maanat and Ivy’s decoration read ‘world peace is not absence of violence but manifestation of human compassion’, while Nikita and Mehak’s message was ‘in joy or sadness flowers are constant friends. The hall was full of colurful, vibrant flowers decorations and the students had also used waste material to bring innovative ideas to life.

While sharing her experience, the chief guest, Namita Sood said, “It is really nice to see such beautiful creations by children, and that they get opportunities to show their creativity at all levels. I really like the flower arrangements and especially the ones where students have used waste material. This goes on to show their skills and presence of mind to make something so beautiful within an hour by using the limited resources on hand”. She congratulated all the students on their beautiful presentations and said that everyone was a winner, despite the results announced.
