हम सबको स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं! आज़ाद रहे… बच्चों की हँसी आज़ाद रहे…

Living in the hustle and bustle of a big city, Neelam hasn’t lost touch with her inner world and that is evident from her poems. The ability to see beauty in her surroundings gives her immense pleasure and satisfaction. Be it her morning walk inside her apartment or her evening stroll in the nearby park, she ensures that she doesn’t miss a tiny flower besides the hedge or could feel the hopefulness in the form of a newly sprouted leave.

Neelam has come out of hills but the love for the hills is still there in her.

For her, the love for the languages (Hindi and English) got transformed into the vocation and the credit goes to the various tides and turns her life took. Besides writing poems, she has been developing content, does editing and reviews work, as well as translates books into Hindi.

The latest in the series is the Hindi translation of Bill Bryson’s bestseller ‘A Short History of Nearly Everything’. She is quite enthusiastic about the books she has translated and wants to reach out to people who want to read some really good titles in Hindi.

Having some experience in radio broadcasting and television, she loves recording her poems and thoughts. She started doing it during the corona pandemic and it, alongwith the work and reading, helped her to overcome the dark days of the pandemic.

Neelam loves old melodies from Hindi films, ghazals and Sufi songs. Her teenager at home is broadening her musical horizon by introducing her to different kind of music. Learning and unlearning is a part of the journey, called life.
