AHS Junior section kids showcase sporting skills

The Annual Sports Day for the Junior Section of Auckland House School was held on May 22, 2024. The Chief Guest for the event was Vineeta Sood, Principal, ECI Chalet Day School. The chief guest was warmly greeted by Director, Auckland House School Society, Sunita John. Principal Smaraki Samantaroy, Founding Principal Michael John, Ruben T. John, Principal Auckland House for Boys were also present.

The event started with a colorful Flag display by the students of Form-l followed by a display of tri-colour helium balloons by the students of Form-Il, which ended with a spectacular showcase of gymnastics by the girls of Form-l and Il.

The students participated in one or the other race which included flat race, ring the bottle race, hold together, fisherman race, hurdle races with rope and hoola- hoops, three-legged race and whistling duck race.

The skaters of Form-l and II also showed their skills through races and musical chair. All the parents enjoyed the event to the utmost and were excited to participate in the parents races.

The Chief Guest presented medals to the winners and appreciated their efforts. The Director and Principal thanked the Chief Guest for gracing the occasion and the parents, teachers, and students for their participation. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
