Congress Rajya Sabha candidate Anurag Sharma called on CM Sukhu at his office in Shimla on Thursday. The meeting was attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Ayush Minister Yadvinder Goma, State Congress President Vinay Kumar, and MLA Sanjay Awasthy.
Later, Anurag Sharma filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election at the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Secretariat in Shimla in the presence of Chief Minister Sukhu. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, HPCC President Vinay Kumar, and co-incharges of Pradesh Congress affairs Vidit Chaudhary and Chetan Chauhan, along with several cabinet ministers, MLAs and other dignitaries, were present during the filing of nomination.
