APG Shimla University has been awarded the Education Leader Award-2023 for outstanding work in the field of vocational and technical higher education. The University has been using innovative software, such as Editch for Outcome Education, to provide quality education, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. The award was presented to Engineer Vikrant Suman, representing APG Shimla University, at the Education Leaders Conclave and Awards program held by Observe Now Media Group in Chandigarh.
Chancellor Suman Vikrant expressed his pride in the achievement and credited it to the commitment of the university’s professors, students, and administration. He also acknowledged the university’s dedication to providing skill-based education in higher education. APG Shimla University is the first higher education institution in Himachal Pradesh to receive this award.
