Auckland Boys Host their First Carnival — Fun ‘n’ Frolic Galore

It was moment of pride and delight for the Auckland boys as they hosted their first ever carnival in the history of Auckland House School for Boys today in the school campus. Director Principal Sunita John presided over the function as the chief guest and was warmly greeted by the Boys School Principal Michael A. John. She was escorted to various stalls where she interacted and congratulated the teachers and students for putting up a brilliant show. She event tried her hand at few games amidst cheers and claps from the students.

Auck.Boys.26.6.15bWith a bright sunny day, the school campus was full of kids and parents who could be seen enthusiastically playing games or eating delectable’s at various stalls. The stalls were supervised by various teachers from both schools with the help of the students. Delicious food items such as noodles, pani puri, hot dogs, channa batura, momos, ice creams etc., were ready to allure the youngsters. It was difficult to resist the colorful ice creams sticks and chilled coolers. The food stalls saw equal amount of rush as teachers had a tough time handling the crowd. The burger and pani puri stalls were quite popular with the kids.

Auck.Boys.26.6.15cGames that attracted lots of crowd were finding the key, knocking the tin, computer games, horse game, a tambola corner, ring the ball, hoopla and many more. The request corner too had a long line of kids trying to get their favourite songs on air as they danced having a gala time. A theme park with slide and swings was a major attraction for the little ones who enjoyed their rides.

Auck.Boys.26.6.15dVarious teachers — Kiran Marwa, Sangeeta Sharma, Seeta Sharma, Alka Sharma, Disha Sharma, Pratibha Sood, Surbhi, Anita, Upasna among others — manning the stalls had their hands full as the crowd grew during the noon time, and they were assisted by their little helpers Ravinder Singh, Parthir Banta, Naman Bhardwaj, Tarish, Ridham, Aarv, Parval and Saurabh to name a few.

To end the fun and frolic of the day, the raffle prizes were announced by the Principal. The event was a big success and the efforts and hard work put in by the staff and the students was lauded by the chief guest and the principal.
